cities in motion

get to know this project

The German-Ukrainian youth exchange “Cities in Motion” (5 – 18 of August 2019) in Berlin was concluded with a summer party and an exhibition at the youth center “Albert Schweitzer Campus” in Berlin-Steglitz, displaying the outcomes and the participant´s impressions from the project.

All in all, it was an exciting two weeks filled with various creative workshops and excursions. Participants were encouraged to reimagine the look of their cities and discover the possibilities of how to make them more relaxed, safe, and ecological. Finally, young people were able to discuss the ways of contributing to these changes and get inspired by best-practice examples of Berlin.

The exchange project was implemented in close cooperation with “House of Nuremberg” (Ukraine) and Jugendamt Steglitz-Zehlendorf (Germany) within the Erasmus + Program and was supported within the Federal Child and Youth Plan.
