During the training “YOUthArt. Supporting Community Development” 27 participants from 8 countries (Portugal, Germany, Italy, Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Georgia) came together to exchange their experience and expertise concerning the use of non-formal artistic ways of collaboration with local communities.
The project targeted youth workers, leaders, community representatives and active organisation members who are involved in youth work amongst people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
Participants were able to increase their qualifications in using creative participatory community art methods, learn and share their knowledge of community art non-formal education methodology, and enhance their instrumentation for cooperation with their target groups.
The training was implemented in close cooperation with “Asociatia pentru Promovarea Educatiei Creativ-Ecologice si a Abilitatilor Inovative” (Romania), NGO “Associazione Ottovolante” (Italy), “TEATRO METAPHORA – Associação de Amigos das Artes” (Portugal), Youth Association “DRONI” (Georgia), Civic Organisation “Development and Initiative” (Ukraine), Regional Youth Public Organisation For Support Of Civil Initiatives of Mari El Republic “OPORA” (Russia), NGO “UniGrowth DC” (Armenia) within the ERASMUS + program.
